My background
I was born and raised in the hill country around Austin. Everyone in my family is an artisan of some variety, and I learned the handcrafts of fine woodworking, carpentry, blacksmithing, and welding from the time I could hold a hammer. I remember touring the Parade of Homes with my parents and imagining what it would be like to build or fix up my own house someday, incorporating beautiful craftsmanship into the details. Several of our close family friends were custom home builders and realtors, and I was enthralled with the goings on of both fields from an early age.
After my education, I put my varied skills to use in home building and remodeling, learning from some of the best. I focused on painting, drywall, and trim carpentry for a time while obtaining my real estate license. That was over a decade ago, and since then I have integrated my expertise and interests into my current role in the field of real estate: helping people sell their homes and then find the best home for the next stage of their lives.
I also offer home improvement services to home buyers and sellers so they can make all their real estate dreams come true.
My goal is to put all my experience, talent, and enthusiasm to work for every client so they can have the home they have always wanted.
Work Experience
2014 - Present: Licensed Texas real estate sales agent #649598
After passing the exam and receiving my license, I worked for several well-known brokers before finding my home at Century 21 Realty Network. After winning the Rookie of the Year award for my first year as a full-time agent, I continued improving and learning how to better serve my clients. I am truly passionate about all things real estate, and I value every opportunity to help people achieve their home-buying or selling goals. Century 21 Realty Network eventually merged with Century 21 Integra to provide agents with more support and tools, which means I can do even more to help with your real estate dreams!
2009 - Present: General contractor and construction consultant
I have always enjoyed construction and craftsmanship, although 20 years ago I did not suspect that it would become an integral part of my success. I got my first construction job during my senior year of high school, working for a local contractor as a helper. The next summer I went to work for a land renovation company as a heavy equipment operator. After college, I worked for two poorly-run companies, and in 2014 I decided to strike out on my own. Soon I was able to provide top-tier painting, drywall, and carpentry services to a growing customer base. As my business developed, so did my network and skills. Over the years I graduated to larger and more complex projects, eventually taking a step back from swinging the hammer to focus on my real estate clients. Over a decade of experience in both fields has given me unique and valuable expertise.
